Hey everyone, I'm just going to post a quick introduction (feel free to go onto my website if you want to know more about me).
My name is David Rysin I've been interested in magic for 10 years, and learning magic for 8. My first 4 or so years of learning magic were wasted (I was only 6 when I started learning magic and was quite bad at it considering I didn't have a mentor to tell me my wrongs nor an adequate book to learn from), had a good year of learning magic after that, had another bad year, and then got really serious about magic and started thinking about pursuing it professionally. In December of '06 I got my first gig and have now worked in places as big and grand as the Boston Opera House.
I really look forward to being a member of this community, I think this is a brilliant idea, and I will start planning a fundraiser sometime this week and hopefully have it held by next month.
Any and all legal information I should and need to know about hosting a fundraiser would be greatly appreciated either on the public forum as a separate post, a reply to this one, or a PM.
Thanks, and keep up the good work on this wonderful idea!
~Magically Dave

I wouldn't call it a career yet...Successful hobby is the term I use right now (except when people ask me what I do in which case I'm obviously a "professional" magician ).
But thank you, every compliment helps .
I'll talk to Don, Jeff, and Aplen from Hank Lee's Magic Factory, and also talk to David Oliver, the lead of the SYM #29(?) in Boston, and see if we can do a charity SYM event somewhere.
Good luck to all and their magic, and especially good luck to Magic for Darfur,

Hello everyone. I am so pleased to join at last. I wanted to wait until I knew I would have time to commit to being here and getting to know everyone.
I am thrilled to be here. Karen has been so lovely to work for and this looks such a great place to hang out. _________________ XRumer 5.0 Palladium: best promotion software |
